Evreux SAMU Hospital Center: inflatable PMA tent, captive air, L = 12 m x W = 6 m, 60m²

For the  SAMU  of the  Evreux Hospital Centre , we recently custom-made an inflatable PMA tent (Advanced Medical Post), an inflatable shelter for a mobile first aid post.
This inflatable, air-locked structure is entirely made of single-skin 0.6 mm PVC, in the shape of cut panels.
This inflatable tent with usable dimensions L = 12 m x W = 6 m is inflated with air using an electric pump, and coupled with a pressure regulator.

We provide:

An interior view of the inflatable first aid station shelter manufactured for the SAMU (Emergency Medical Service) of the Evreux Hospital Center , providing a very large space, a very large surface area, and a very large usable work volume for medical staff and doctors. A PVC-coated tarpaulin floor creates a clean, hygienic, and moisture-free first aid area. The tarpaulin also provides better thermal insulation and protects against moisture rising from the ground. The usable interior space is ideal for accommodating a significant number of patients and can be furnished with folding medical beds, desks, etc. – Copyright Vivien LAÏLLE / FlyPix – All rights reserved, reproduction prohibited.

Accessories included:

This photo shows an example of an electric pump, a reversible pump, which allows air to be injected into or removed from the inflatable frame of the captive air structure. – Copyright Vivien LAÏLLE / FlyPix – All rights reserved, reproduction prohibited.
The kit includes an electric pump and a pressure regulator, two essential accessories for inflating the PMA inflatable tent. The photo shows an example of a pressure regulator. Inflating a captive air shelter involves two steps: first, inflation with the electric pump to the required air capacity, and then connecting the pressure regulator. This regulator modulates and manages the pressure inside the inflatable tubes, adding or removing air depending on the pressure and ambient temperature. It stabilizes the air pressure within the tubes to compensate for the expansion or contraction of the inflatable structure. In addition to this device, there are overpressure and safety valves that expel air from the tubes in case of excessively rapid expansion. NB .

  • The pressure regulator is necessary if the shelter is deployed for several consecutive days or permanently on site.
  • One is needed per tent module.
  • If inflation/deflation occurs during the day, they are not necessary, but recommended.
  • They provide better reliability for the inflation and maintenance of inflatable structures, in indoor and outdoor environments.

The inflatable first aid shelter is a sealed inflatable structure, meaning the frame tubes are airtight and the seams of the 0.6 mm single-layer PVC envelope are welded.  Why don’t we offer  OXFORD fabric  for our inflatable shelters and tents?

  • We do not offer inflatable tents made of  Oxford canvas  because the quality of this material is insufficient and unsuitable for the needs required on swimming pool construction sites.
  • Under these working and construction conditions,  Oxford fabric is  too fragile and offers no resistance to abrasion and repeated use. That’s why our tents for pool installers are always made with 0.45 mm and 0.60 mm PVC casing.
  • Too many problems caused by this  Oxford fabric design  (tears, abrasions, etc.). Many repairs and returns for after-sales service.

Disinfection of inflatable PMA tents:

  • You can use conventional cleaning products, based on soaps, alcohol, or acetone.
  • Disinfectant aerosol spray products: we recommend spray disinfectants of the WYRITOL bactericidal and antiviral type.
  • You must ensure their antiviral and antibacterial properties.
  • Do not use chlorinated products which will tend to yellow transparent PVC or TPU (no chlorine or bleach).

We manufacture custom-made products in France, according to the needs and specifications of our clients:

  • Inflatable shelters,
  • Inflatable cabins,
